Project Overview
The Participatory Action Research at UPF is focused on the implementation of a Green Office at the university. The main goal of the Green Office UPF is to engage the academic community in sustainability and climate action initiatives, both in the campus and in the local community. The Green Office is funding small projects developed by professors, students, researchers and other stakeholders to promote agency around sustainability and climate-related topics and challenges. The Green Office model, developed by the root Ability group and Leuphana University, is a global academic movement that provides institutional support for initiatives and connects and inspires students and researchers for sustainability actions in universities. The Green Office Movement has been operating for over 10 years, with 71 offices in 11 countries, and the Green Office UPF is the first initiative of the Green Office Model in Brazil!
